Reasons the product is recalled
A faulty stem may damage the fork at the front side of the steerer tube in the location where the stem is clamped to the handlebar.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs, this may damage the fork and cause the rider to lose control and pose a fall hazard to the cyclist.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop riding their bicycle immediately and return the bicycle to the place of purchase, or another Bianchi dealer for inspection.
