What are the defects?

Failure occurs when an air hose in the brake circuit dislodges from the fitting. The vehicle may cease moving or there may be a decrease of the service brake performance while driving on the road.

What are the hazards?

If an air hose dislodges while driving, the crane will come to a stop on the road or the service brake performance will be decreased, causing a potential accident which may result in injuries to the driver or others.

What should consumers do?

Due to the small number of units, Tadano Oceania Pty Ltd will contact each customer that was supplied an affected unit and make arrangements to rectify the fault.
