What are the defects?
The connector for the dust bin vibrating “filter shaker” motor has been incorrectly assembled. If the dust bin is removed without first disconnecting from the power supply as instructed, live parts may be accessible whilst the lid is removed.
What are the hazards?
Exposure to live parts could cause electrical shock.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should cease using the product immediately and disconnect from power supply.
Consumers can contact any TradeTools store to make arrangements to modify/repair the design defect to meet the Australian Electrical Safety Standards.
