The crank arm may become loose and separate from the drive shaft on affected Cube E-mountain bikes.

The hazards to consumers

Risk of serious injury or death from a collision if the crank arm separates from the drive shaft.

What consumers should do

  1. Stop using the Cube E- mountain bikes with affected crank arms immediately.
  2. Return bikes to the nearest Cube dealer for inspection and bolt replacement.
