Reason the product is recalled
As a result of a manufacturing error, Quatix watches may under certain circumstances cause a skin irritation or burn on the user's wrist at the location of the charge connectors on the back of the watch.
The hazards to consumers
The user may at first feel a tingling sensation on the wrist. If the watch is worn for an extended period of time, the watch may cause a small skin burn at the location of the charge connectors on the back of the watch.
What consumers should do
Consumers are asked to return their Quatix watches to the place of purchase for a replacement or refund. Alternatively, they may contact Garmin Australasia on 1-800-552438 or at australasia.marine.contacts@garmin.com
