Rinnai—'Grand Hall' LPG Regulator
What are the defects?
A diaphragm fault in the primary regulator may result in a greater than normal amount of gas being vented into the atmosphere. There is a risk from exposing a naked flame or spark to a concentration of gas that has been unable to disperse.
What are the hazards?
What should consumers do?
If the regulator appears to be leaking or there is a strong smell of gas, turn off the gas supply at the cylinder and do not use. Contact 1800 732 255 without delay to arrange for the regulator to be replaced free of charge.
Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is the responsible regulator for this recall.
